- great boots! Review by Rocksboots in Mn
I recieved these boots today and absolutely LOVE THEM ! The gals are right about them running 1/2 size large. The foot part of the boot is soft, supple and I own enough pairs of boots that I can say, no break in period with these. It's as if the leather melts and conforms to your foot. Rounded toe box with some height, so there's good toe room.
I am 5'6" and have a lot of real estate between my ankle and knee. The boots hit mid knee cap. For anyone concerned about the way the back of the boot sticks out, under the second buckle in the first picture, the buckles are adjustable and you can make that go away. They have a nice weight lining and the width of the shaft is true. I've been wearing them for several hours and I don't think they're going to be prone to pooling around the ankles, they stay up nicely. I LOVE THE COLOR, it's rich warm golden tan.
The sole is slick, which is my only fault with these beauties. There are several fixes for that, none of which expensive.
This is my first time ordering from this company and I have to say, it was a GREAT experience.
